Graceful Perseverance: "Do you think God loves me more than you?"

Posted October 24th, 2014 @ 07:10am

Welcome back everyone! This week's big question is "Do you think God loves me more than you?"The Sacred Heart illustration

Absolutely not! He has walked every road we travel before us. He has seen our many faces of pain and heartache. He's watched many tears fall from our faces. He's been a witness to our broken hearts. As each of us walk through the valleys of this life, He is always in the shadows of freedom from our heartache, giving us the "free will" to grab His hand of strength in any situation we find ourselves recklessly entangled time and time again.Group of People Holding Cross and Praying in Back Lit

Throughout our journeys, God observes us growing weary and afraid. He knows our doubts and our lack of faith when life is weighted with trials that we feel are too much for us to overcome. But know and believe that it is because of His scars, His own stripes that our spirit is renewed. It is because of Jesus' own suffering and pain that He understandsJesus Christ our pain and suffering in this lifetime. He asks the broken and confused to cast all of our cares unto, so we can enter into the joy He has already prepared for us.

Reach out to the hand that's always extended to you, God's healing hand. He's desperate for you to turn to Him. Rest in the wings of peace where He is patiently waiting for each of us to land. The weight of this world is more than we can handle without Him. The burdens are too overwhelming for you or me to take on by ourselves. I have seen the healing hands of God. I have seen his works of wonder. More times than I can count He has brought me from the depths of doubt and distrust to the fullness of his peace in the middle of many dark storms. I have survived many trials and tribulations in my life. Because of His love for His children, he is forever by our side every step of the way.  Silhouette of JesusJust when I thought I would never survive the mess I had gotten myself into, it was through God's grace and mercy that He swooped down and saved me from my stains. I know He will always come to my rescue. I feel His spirit, the Holy Spirit, flood over me, saving me from myself.

I invite you to also center your life on knowing God, to discover what He has planned for your life. I encourage you to have an "eagerness," to have a steadfast commitment to the Lord in your life and then to watch how He transforms your life for His glory. What would your life look like then? Jesus st sunsetJesus answered: Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘'Show us the Father'?  (John 14:9) God cares for you! God loves each of us equally the same, without conditions, and with absolute forgiveness of our sins. His grace and mercy are displayed everyday in our lives to show us he is everywhere, all the time for each of us. He is the master of the universe, our creator, the Lord of Lords, King of Kings.

Iglesia Cristiana.Philippians 3:10-12 reads --10: I want to know Christ - yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11: and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. 12: Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

There is nothing too big or ugly for God to fix in our lives. He mends all things through his love and his miraculous plan. He loves each of us for who we are, not for what we have done or for what we will become. And in turn, we love Him and trust Him above all things of this world because of who He is and for what He has done for us.

Jesus Loves You religion heart wing God bless LordI seek Him because He loves me for me! He loves you for you; therefore you should also seek Him! Be assured there is no one else who can show you a more divine, pure love than our father in Heaven. It was my intent in this blog to demonstrate through my own life testimony that knowing, seeking and loving Christ as my number one priority has provided me the hope and love that all of us seek in our lives.
